In this video we will see how to make Verkadalai kulambu recipe in tamil. Peanut (Groundnut) / Verkadalai is a good source of protein and this verkadalai kulambu is a great combination for idli / dosa or chapathi. Roasting the kadalai releases wonderful smell and taste to the kulambu but it is optional and you can also soak the groundnut overnight and cook it and use it in the recipe as well.

1 cup Peanut

3 tbsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard
1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
2 large Onion
1 tbsp ginger Garlic paste
Curry leaves
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsp Coriander powder
1.5 tsp chili powder

1/4 cup Coconut
1 Cinnamon
2 Cloves
2 Cardamom
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
